PEEP SHOW: Bench work, June 21, 2011

I've been blessed with "down-time!" And that means time to experiment and create some of the design ideas I've been carrying around in my head for months. There are several wonderfully creative artist that I follow on Etsy and I constantly draw a steady flow of inspiration from their work. 6shadowsjewelry is one of those artists and her Secret Bottle necklace has driven me to the bench this week.

I'm making my own version, a scent bottle pendant using my flower garden motif. Here's the progress so far:

The larger flowers will all have tiny little gem stones in the middle to add a bit of color. And the finished bottle will have holes to release the scent of dried lavender or chamomile hidden inside.
